Clive Wheatley, a very good friend of all things V8 and one of the tours sponsors, with Doug Niven (Jim Clark’s cousin) in front of Doug's Lotus.

V8 Tour party visited the Jim Clark Museum and enjoyed seeing some of his cars and memorabilia with Doug Niven as guide.

Lorraine Noble-Thompson reports "the weekend went brilliantly and everyone enjoyed it . Tony Smith (V8 Tour organiser) conducted a two minute silence on the Friday evening as a marque of respect and on the Saturday after the official proclamation of King Charles III Tony presented a toast to the King …the King, long live the King . So I can possibly say that this would have been the first official toast to our new King within the MG Car Club . The weekend was conducted with dignity and a sombre approach as suggested in the guidance released by Motorsport UK and it was wonderful at Duns yesterday for the museum and Doug Niven (the late Jim Clark's cousin). It was splendid. We were also able to watch the Duns ceremony in proclaiming the new King as well, so saw history in the making.
