Classic car event at Windsor for the Platinum Jubilee

Andrew Jeyarajah's posts on the V8 Bulletin Board report on his attending this recent major event. He said "I was asked to join the Car and Classic Platinum Jubilee show at Windsor with British cars from 1952 - 2022. I was representing 1994 in my RV8, having just completed some extensive mechanical works including an engine rebuild and addition of power steering. A lot of amazing cars there".

In the online article on the Classic Cars website, Dale Vinten reports "With around 25,000 people walking the Royal Mile and admiring the selection of classic British machinery that Car & Classic was able to assemble, the day was a roaring success and a fitting tribute to Her Royal Highness’ 70 years on the throne. The cars arrived early and it was quite a spectacle witnessing this convoy of some of the best classics that this country has ever produced making its way up the three-mile avenue towards one of our most recognisable historical landmarks, Windsor Castle. There they parked up in formation, each car ready for its much deserved day in the spotlight".
