MG & Triumph Spares Day postponed again Posted: 220115 The MG & Triumph Spares Day is, for many, the season opener for the MG and Triumph community and is usually run at a time when many owners are deep into their restoration or general maintenance work and looking for that all-elusive spare part or tool. The event had to be postponed in both 2020 and 2021 due to the pandemic, but clubs, exhibitors and visitors alike were looking forward to the rescheduled event on 22nd January 2022. Sadly though the current infection rate is still a concern and the show has been postponed again. The organisers have said, “Unfortunately due to the persistence of COVID-19 and with your wellbeing our primary concern, we have taken the decision to postpone the MG & Triumph Spares Day show until further notice. We will advise you on the new date as soon as we have it. Thanks for your understanding, stay safe.” The MG Car Club was to have been represented by a number of the registers from within the Club and we hope that those displays will also be able to return for the revised dates, as soon as they are released from the organisers. We’ll keep members posted with news as we receive it.
