I bought RCY 497M in 2010 from a general secondhand car dealer in Southbourne Bournemouth. It was advertised as a 1973 model ’the 100th one ver built' and was registered on 18th February 1974. I improved and enjoyed the car for a while and later sold it to a German MG enthusiast to fund my purchase of an RV8. The new owner drove the car back home to Dusseldorf and as far as I am aware it’s still there and has never returned to the UK (according to the online DVLA vehicle check records).
