Successful
joint Triumph & MG event at Malvern
With MGLive! 2021 cancelled again, an alternative major event was
held where the MG Car Club joined the Triumph clubs (TR Register and
TSSC) at what was the largest outdoor Triumph and MG Show. It was
on the Malvern Show Ground at the foot of the Malvern Hills amongst
the stunning views and countryside and celebrated all things Triumph
and MG! The MG anniversaries featured at the event were 60 years of
the MG Midget and a special 20th anniversary of the launch 20 years
ago.

RV8 (Nightfire
Red 1733) arrived early - here parked up with a backdrop
of Triumph Stags close to the refreshments! This RV8, registered
by Martin Nuttal-Smith in Devon, had a useful luggage rack and
leather case on the boot lid. Photos

Stunning V8 Roadster
in Inca Yellow recently completed by Ralph Hardwick was
the display car by the V8 Stand at Malvern. It has a Hoyle IRS
upgrade with rear disc brakes, Hoyle front suspension upgrade,
Vitesse 5 speed Mazda gearbox, an injected engine, 15 inch wheels
and larger front brake callipers. With its bold colour it attracted
a great deal of interest from visitors to the Severn Hall. Photos |

V8
members attending the V8 AGM 2021 held on Saturday 14th
August 2021 at the Triumph & MG Weekend event at Malvern.
The turnout for this V8 AGM was lower than usual when held at
the Club's major annual event MGLive! at Silverstone but with
the change in the format and location of a major Club meeting
plus the recent reduction in Covid constraints it was understandable
fewer V8 members were there than usual. Photo
