New Mazda MX-5 Sport Venture 2021 review One has to say the Mazda MX5 has been the most successful affordable sportscar for many years taking over the role MG had in the 60s and 70s and earlier. One can only hope that if and when MG produce a new sportscar it will have some of the long lasting and practical features we have seen with the Mazda MX5 models. Some of the exotic designs for a new MG seen circulating in recent months looked way over the top and not practical cars that younger drivers would find good fun to drive, reliable and affordable. In a review by Luke Wilkinson on the Auto Express website he says that like the standard roadster "this new limited-edition MX-5 Sport Venture is a fantastic car to drive, thanks to its direct handling and buzzy naturally aspirated 1.5-litre engine. Since the fourth generation of the MX-5 was launched in 2015, Mazda has released a steady stream of special-edition versions, following the pattern established by the three previous models."
