RV8 registered by an enthusiast in the USA There is a modest but steady flow of RV8s going to the USA as enthusiasts there recognise the value and classic appeal of this V8 powered sports car. Posted: 210105 RV8 (Nightfire Red 1824) has just been registered with the V8 Register by David Sell in Seattle USA. It was sold by Robin Plumley in 2019, the fourth owner from 2015. Originally exported to Japan in 1995 is was reimported in 2006 and registered in the UK. The first UK owner had it for just under a year and then for 8 years by a member in Cambridgeshire. It had a hydraulic PAS system fitted. When offered for sale by Robin in 2019 it had "15,000 miles in the UK and 56,000 miles in total. Excellent bodywork and wheels, PAS, Spax adjustable shockers, new tyres & battery, hood cover with frame, full tonneau and windstop.
