V8 Website content up in 2020

As we near the end of 2020, a brief review of activity on the V8 Website in terms on new content - each item had a link on the Recent Changes webpage where most viistors go to see "what's new".

Posts of new material on the V8 Website were up by an average of 53% in 2020 compared with 2019 providing interesting and topical news and articles for V8 members whilst frustrated with Covid restrictions during various stages of the Covid lockdowns in the UK.

Posts of new material on the V8 Website were up by an average of 53% in 2020 compared with 2019. The average daily posts with a link on the Recent Changes webpage were 1.56 in 2020 compared with 0.99 in 2019.

Significant rise in V8 Website content in 2020
The comparative table above shows the monthly posts of new material on the V8 Website were up by an average of 53% in 2020 compared with 2019. The average daily posts (with a link on the Recent Changes webpage) were 1.56 in 2020 compared with 0.99 in 2019. In the three months after Lockdown 1 the new posts were up between 52% and 122% when compared with 2019. The V8 Webmaster was away in September 2020 and 2019 so the level of new content activity tends to fall each year in that month. The recovery in new content in October and November 2020 was very close to the pattern in 2019 but with a significant increase in December 2020 - up 133% compared with December 2019.
