"Unique visits" are the visits made by registered users but ignoring repeat visits made by users on a same day.
The chart above has the total unique visits in each month ignoring repeat visits by the registered users
on any individual days.
What we can see is the visits were high at the start of the year before the Covid virus began to hit the UK, following which the visits fell month by month until late October 2020 when they picked up again but only to about 70% of the level in the first quarter 2020.


"Hits" indicate the level of activity during the "Unique visits" made by registered users to the V8BB including the repeat visits by users on any day. The chart indicates an increase in activity by registered users from April, the month after late in March when Lockdown 1 in the UK came in and again a major increase in activity later as Lockdown 2 was approaching in early November 2020. The level of hits in December 2020 was back to around 85% of the peak seen in March 2020.
