MG
90 at Gaydon
Celebrating the MG Car Club's 90th anniversary at the MG 90 event
at the British Motor Museum at Gaydon on Saturday 10th October 2020
was a well organised event and a milestone in our Club's history.
Both the Club Office team and the Gaydon management handled the mass
gathering in a professional Covid secure way but with the concerns
over the rising rate of new Covid cases it was a modestly attended
meeting but much enjoyed by members there.
Many V8 members were clearly pleased to have the opportunity of driving
their MGV8s to Gaydon and with a dry cold breeze the domed V8 Gazebo
provided by John Cumming was a welcome meeting point - with prudent
distancing of course!
Alison Hardwick volunteered to manage the V8 Gazebo during the morning
selling books, sets of workshop notes and the new V8 Face Masks. In
fact by Sunday evening over 50% of the stock of V8 Face Masks had
been sold, so if you want one don't delay. Visit
the online V8 Shop
