ACA say their auction planned for Saturday 4th April 2020 has
been postponed and add "like many businesses we have had
to temporarily close our doors as from Tuesday 24th March. We

"Timed Auction" idea from CCA
Faced with the Covid-19 lock-down conditions in force in
the UK, the classic car auctioneer CCA has come up with a creative
way of continuing to have classic car auctions. CCA
say "from this Saturday 28th March, our daily timed
auction will commence and we will offer ten cars per
day for 16 days, for a 12-hour window of 8am - 8pm. The
daily timed auction will take place on the website of our online
bidding partner, Proxibid. 200325

Leslie closes its offices and cancels any upcoming auctions
Morris Leslie Auctions have been closely monitoring government
advice regarding the spread of COVID-19. The situation continues
to develop rapidly and in light of last night's statement regarding
new Government protocols and in order to protect the health
and well-being of our staff and customers, we have taken the
decision to close our offices and cancel any upcoming auctions
effective from 1pm, Tuesday 24th March until further notice.
Naturally, we will continue to monitor the situation on a daily
basis and will keep our customers up to date on developments

is invited to register for telephone bidding, commission bidding

with a ‘drive through’ auction at Bicester Heritage
starting at 1.30pm offering a catalogue of modern and popular

bid.

move to online and telephone bidding
At the H&H classic car auction at Duxford on 18th March,
the auctioneer took bids from bidders online, on the telephone
and from a few people in a pub near Duxford where they had been
relocated because of the COVID-19 measures taken by Duxford
to comply with the Government's directions on avoiding mass
gatherings. It seems likely these types of arrangements will
apply to future H&H auctions. H&H
