Posted: 190821 We hear from Ken Cothliff, the leader of the Vale of York Natter in Yorkshire, that their President (Yorkshire Centre) and friend to all, Alan Dakeyne, has been injured in a 'T-bone' crash when someone piled into his MGBGTV8 on the last day of the Caledonian Centre's tour of the Lake District. Luckily Shirley was not in the passenger seat otherwise it is likely she would have been seriously injured, if not killed. Alan is in hospital with several broken ribs, having been cut out of the car. We understand he is likely to be in hospital for some time.
