See our news item on the UK Government's consultation on tyres More Tyre age concerns More & More Posted: 190407 It's clear some owners of historic vehicles either do not accept the concerns many enthusiasts recognise, or possibly they are feel aged tyres give their car a historic feel and appearance, but when you see some tyres in use which have serious issues over their condition and consequent safety it is clear the vehicle should not be on the road like that. Fellow V8 member Ian Quarrington was shocked to see a tyre on a pre 1970 vehicle at a classic car show this morning - and the other three tyres were just as awful. How can people not think this is not dangerous?
