An enthusiast in Germany has been in touch mentioning he has been searching for an affordable “non-standard” MGBGTV8 and now reports "that this Spring I have finally been successful. I acquired a BGT RV8 conversion which has already been in Germany for around 10 years. It consists of a 3.5 litre V8 with RV8 exhausts and an R380 5 speed gearbox. The car gives me much more pleasure than the previous Stag and not just on the sound alone!"
