of V8 Committee Members The V8 Annual General Meeting was held at noon
on Sunday 18th June 2017 in the V8 Marquee at MGLive" at the Silverstone
Circuit. The tradition at the Annual General Meetings of the V8 Register is the
whole of the committee stands down including the V8 Chairman so a temporary chairman
of the meeting has to be appointed by the members attending the meeting to conduct
the election of a new V8 Chairman. At the V8 AGM 2017 Chris Wilkins (RV8) stood
in as the Temporary Chairman at this point in the meeting. The results of the
election of officers and members of the committee were: | V8
Chairman - Nic Houslip was proposed by
George Wilder, seconded by Walter Kallenberg and all present were in favour of
his appointment. Nic Houslip then took over as V8 Chairman and on behalf of the
members of the V8 Register thanked Victor Smith for his hard work and support
on his retirement at V8 Chairman.
V8 Secretary - Debbie
Brading was proposed by John Cumming, seconded by Angus Munro and all
present were in favour of her appointment.
V8 Treasurer - Richard
Homer was proposed by Chris Wilkins, seconded-by Steve Newton and all
present were in favour of his appointment.
V8 Registrar, Scribe &
Webmaster - Victor Smith was proposed
by Richard Withington, seconded by Mike Howlett and all present were in favour
of his appointment.

Technical & Spares - Clive Wheatley
was proposed by Victor Smith, seconded by Ian Quarrington and all present were
in favour of his appointment.
V8 Technical - Steve
Newton was proposed by Debbie Brading, seconded by Nic Houslip and
all present were in favour of his appointment.
V8 Tours Coordinator
- Ken Clayton was proposed by Mike Lane,
seconded by Hugh Boddington and all present were in favour of his appointment.
