Hunt Cooke has just returned from a rally in France and has says "you
might enjoy this film shot on the previous event I did with both Richard and Jane.
The Col de Rousset is an amazing road, literally cut into the cliff in places,
hence the overhanging rock. No MGs on this film unfortunately, but there were
a good few on the event, including an MGV8. I suppose it may be some consolation
that the 450SLC is a V8.
On the soundtrack you can hear the annoying clicking,
but actually that occurs not on the Brantz, but on the Terratrip, an electromechanical

Hunt Cooke mentioned the other day "after a phone call on Saturday I am unexpectedly
doing Le Jog again this year, starting in two weeks time in a car I bought from
a pal last night! I It's a 1965 Volvo. I have not seen the car and never driven
a Volvo, but it won the event in 2011 so the car is capable even if the crew are
not. I have hopes it will prove more waterproof than the MGB was in 2005". |
