Exceptional concours MGBGTV8 for sale
Howard Guiney is having to sell his MGBGTV8 as he has a bad knee which makes driving more than 50 miles very painful so the consequent lack of use forces a very reluctant sale at considerably less than the rebuild cost. He has a full photo record of the rebuild.

Other "exceptional cars" have been snapped up by traders and then later launched as a high priced model in their showrooms and their magazine adverts. A Harvest Gold MGBGTV8 with 10,300 miles from new was offered for near £39,000 having sold at auction with a hammer price of £11,600 in 2009. Posted: 160816
Only very occasionally do you see a truly exceptional MGBGTV8 offered for sale and the Teal Blue concours winning example which has just been put up for sale by Howard Guiney is one. Howard is a real concours enthusiast and his meticulous rebuild was undertaken with an attention to detail and originality. The restoration work was carried out by Halls, the well regarded MG specialist in Lincolnshire, and Howard completed the work in August 2014. Since then he has won concours classes at the Club's MGLive! events in 2015 and 2016 and elsewhere. More

Usually high priced V8s are seen with "top end" traders who specialise in presenting cars in impressive showrooms with impressive sales patter, but here you have an opportunity to buy a truly exceptional car from an enthusiast before the traders get a look in.
