the Black Country Museum is a step back in time but it is alive with so many volunteers
in period dress looking as though they live and work there. An initial photo report
will give you an idea of what the place looks like together with a copy of the
site plan so you can see how the various buildings gathered from around the Black
Country have been brought to the site and rebuilt. The museum is a valuable record
of the sights and scenes in earlier years.
Many members left after their
visit amazed at the range of metal materials ranging from chains to door locks
to motorcycles and more that were made by the skilled and industrious people who
have lived in the West Midlands.
More photos welcome for the photo
report . |
