for V8 enthusiasts - "Visiting Portugal 2017 - from Saturday 29th July
to Thursday 3rd August 2017 is being organised for V8 enthusiasts by Victor Rodrigues
and his wife Evelyne of the Swiss-MGV8/IG.
European Event of the Year
2017 (EEOY) is being organised by the MG Club Maia in Oporto in Portugal from
Thursday 3rd to Sunday 6th August 2017.

MGV8 enthusiasts planning to travel to Portugal to attend the MG Car Club's European
Event of the Year 2017 will welcome the news that a preliminary event - "Visiting
Portugal 2017" - is being planned there for V8 enthusiasts by the Swiss
V8 Group run by Victor Rodrigues and his Swiss wife Evelyne. Although he has lived
for many years in Zurich in Switzerland he originally comes from Portugal and
has used his local knowledge to arrange the additional event.
Preliminary
information on this planned event is available via the link below and Victor Rodrigues
would welcome early indications of interest from V8 Register members. The number
of cars will be limited to 20 with their crews. The planned accommodation is described
in the preliminary information. If you are interested in joining this event then
send Victor Rodrigues an email mentioning "Visiting Portugal 2017" with
your name, MGV8 model and contacts (email address and telephone number). Once
the arrangements and participants' applications have been settled, then details
of how to book your hotel accommodation directly with the hotel will be released.

Victor Rodrigues reports "we have already reached
our maximum number of cars and hotel rooms so we are already fully booked. New
booking requests will be accepted on waiting list. A
final update on the reservations status will be given at the earliest by 15th
June 2016". |
