year's V8 Technical Day will be held on Saturday 21st May 2016 in the John Thornley 
Suite at Kimber House, 12 Cemetery Road, Abingdon, Oxfordshire OX14 1AS commencing 
at 10am and finishing at around 3.30pm.

Day?
 Bookings for this event can be made directly with the event organiser 
Roger Aldridge - just send him an email with your name and current MG Car Club 
membership number. The event is open to members of the V8 Register - MG Car Club.

V8 Technical Day 2016 for V8 members is to be held at the John Thornley Suite 
at the MG Car Club's Headquarters at Kimber House in Abingdon. If you have never 
visited Club HQ before now is your chance! The suite is a purpose built room with 
state of the art presentation equipment. 
 The programme for the day 
will cover various aspects of owning a an MGV8, with six principal speakers:
 
 Fancy 
a day at the Track?
 Dave Pearce and the team from MGs on Track (MGoT) will 
give an overview of how to take part in a track day event with fellow MG owners, 
including costs, equipment venues etc. Followed by Q&A
 
 Fancy a trip 
to Le Mans?
 Roger Aldridge will give a presentation on attending the Le 
Mans 24 Hours race at La Sarthe. Roger will cover costs, travel options and advice 
on attending the event sites. Followed by Q&A
 
 MG RV8 - the Development 
Story
 Following on from last year's presentation on the manufacture of 
the RV8, Chris will cover "Whole Vehicle Testing" on the RV8 - this 
is a Taster from Chris Allan for his next book with George Wilder on the technical 
development of the RV8. Followed by Q&A
 
 Technical 
Updates
 Nic Houslip and Victor Smith will give updates on various technical 
issues that have been raised over the last year.
 
 Tour of Frontline Developments

 We have a visit to the Frontline factory at Steventon near Abingdon 
with an opportunity to examine their products, cars and all things MG from one 
of the foremost companies in the bespoke MG sector. Website
