Moult's beautifully restored MGBGTV8 in (Glacier White 1072), built in December
1973 and first registered in February 1974, was on display at the entrance to
Hall 4 at the NEC Classic Car Show 2015. The car was despatched from the MG Plant
to Parkside Garage in Leamington Spa in Warwickshire on 11th January 1974.
David Moult got his MGBGTV8
from his father and says "It was agaraged for 32 years before I had it from
him!" David restored the car over a 2 year period starting in 2013, replacing
every component that had worn and bringing the car back to a new condition. Its
first event was the Pride of Ownership competition at MGLive! 2015 and David says
"I was amazed to find I had come second - really rewarding after all the
effort I had put in - to be at the NEC Classic Car Show is the icing in the cake!"
