Wilder reports seeing a Costello MGBGTV8 in BRG coming up for sale at an H&H
auction. The auction catalogue indicates the car was built by Costello Engineering
at Swanley in Kent, it's finished in BRG with black trim, has an MOT to June 2016,
a BMIHT certificate and a list of previous keepers. The engine/gearbox was overhauled
12 years ago, stainless steel exhaust, Britax sunroof, Kenlowe fan and recent
fettling. The car does not have the distinctive Costello bonnet bulge as the carburettors
are very neatly located towards the back of the engine bay near the heater box
on the bulkhead with a "pair of trousers" inlet manifold rather like
the Factory MGBGTV8s with the twin SU set up. More | | V8
