Victor Rodrigues, our V8 Register contact in Switzerland, reports "another factory MGBGTV8 has found a new home in Switzerland. Guido Belser, former President of the MGCC-Switzerland and nowadays in charge of the MGCC-CH/ Basel-Swiss-Center is the new proude owner. The car is very original and very well mantained, bought from previous owner in Germany - Werner Eble."

Victor mentions the photos were taken during the combined MGCC-CH /Basel Center and V8 Register event 2015, where the SWISS-MGV8/IG was kindly invited to participate.

The car (Teal Blue 0534) was despatched from the MG Factory to University Motors in Boston Manor Road in Hanwell West London on 29th August 1973 a few days after the launch of the MGBGTV8 model. Alongside is the nostalgic blue UM sticker attached to the bottom of the rear window and still in place.

This car was originally owned by John Dupont, a founding member of the V8 Register in 1978, who was a regular contributor to the first couple of volumes of the V8 Workshop Notes series including the first note, V8NOTE1.
