Evans reports "yesterday was my first run out this year - completing the
refurbishment of the chrome on my front bumper had taken longer than planned -
and I went to the 31st Marches Transport Festival held in the beautiful surrounds
of Ludlow Castle. What a great event! John Challis was there, signing copies of
his book . . . should have seen if he could have valued the car for me, what with
his experience of the used car trade! There was one other MGV8 there, an RV8.
I took some photos from on high, which gave me a chance to play with the zoom
on my new camera - I’m no photographer and it’s still quite a novelty.
The one gives and idea of what was there and the zoomed in picture is of my V8."
