MGBGTV8 registered with the V8 Register for the first time

early MGBGTV8, Damask 0256, was registered with the V8 Register the other day
by new member John Davidson saying "what's amazing is that it still get used
most days".
From the copy of the production records we can see it
was built in May 1973 and despatched in July 1973 from Abingdon to the well know
distributor, Oliver Rix, in Luton. As it was first registered for the road on
1st August 1973 ahead of the launch on 17th it seems likely Oliver Rix might have
had the car as a demonstrator for the launch.
