The annual Vintage Tractor Run in the Chilterns in aid of the Thames Valley and Chiltern Air Ambulance will be held on Sunday 10th May 2015. Charles Peers, an RV8 member and farmer near Watlington in Oxfordshire, has been in touch to say "this year I have entered both my tractors, 1953 David Brown Cropmaster and a 1964 Massey Ferguson 35X, assuming I can find the extra driver. You will also notice we are blessed by a local Priest who is keen to take part.

I am writing to you for sponsorship to help me raise money for this very worthy cause. Some of you will have given very generously last year but of course they need money every year. Last year I raised £450, being roughly 10% of the total amount raised by the rally last year. It would be great if some of you receiving this email could help me exceed this amount this year."

The tractor run is approximately 25 miles and is scheduled to take around 6 hours and will start at 0930 hrs from a field next to the Chequers Pub in Fingest Oxfordshire RG9 6QD - the actual field will be sign posted. As you will see we will drive the 25 miles over all terrain and in all weathers (these tractors have no weather protection) with a lunch break at St Katherine's, Parmoor, Frieth RG9 6NN where, all are welcome. The run is planned to end at around 1700 hrs.
