exceptional MGBGTV8 with 10,3000 miles has appeared for sale with a trader in
Sussex at an asking price of £39,995. Fellow V8 member Paul Tebbett spotted
the online advert and sent in the link. More
The
car was registered as Harvest Gold 0788 with the V8 Register in July 2011 by an
enthusiast in Lancashire who noted at that time it had covered "10,000 miles".
Although it was built in October 1973 it was not registered until June 1974, which
was not unusual at the time with the Suez
crisis and spike in the cost of petrol having a dampening effect on sales of "large
engined" cars.
Members
may recall in April 2011 an ex concours rubber bumpered V8 on offer at £29,995
only days after it sold at auction for £12,075 including the buyer's premium.
