DVLA launches 2 new services

Chris Hunt Cooke has spotted these two new services that have been launched by DVLA. He comments "this may be of interest to fellow members, the first is only for use by motor traders but it is useful to know that this system exists, the second enables individuals to get the existing number of a vehicle put on retention and a new number allocated very easily and more cheaply than it used to be, apparently. Many classic vehicle owners will of course regard the number as part of their vehicles history and wish to keep it on the vehicle, but there will be circumstances where this facility could be useful".
