scam email

the notice on the My Online Security website dated 28th October 2014. At the foot
of their notice they say a new version of this scam email was issued today, 8th
December 2014. More

it, simply delete it immediately.

email saying "Please find attached INVOICE number 224244 from Power EC
Ltd" pretending to come from soo.sutton[random number]@powercentre.com
with a subject of INVOICE [random number] from Power EC Ltd is another one from
the current bot runs which try to download various Zbots, cryptolocker, ransomware
and loads of other | malware
on your computer. They are using email addresses and subjects that will entice
a user to read the email and open the attachment. A very high proportion are being
targeted at small and medium size businesses, with the hope of getting a better
response than they do from consumers.
Almost all of these also have a password
stealing component, with the aim of stealing your bank, PayPal or other financial
details along with your email or FTP ( web space) log in credentials. | | V8
