Holiday Inn at the village of Seaton Burn, about 6 miles north of Newcastle-upon-Tyne.
Access is easy from the A1 or A19.

The tour will based at the four star Holiday Inn at

Withington reports booking has now closed for this event and syas "we
have 31 cars (net of one cancellation) and 61 members and friends, which we feel
is a good number. We now need to firm up arrangements for the rally plates, ordering
entries to venues and other arrangements.
An updated
booking list is attached - we hope that Rob Lewis can make it following his
forthcoming hip operation."
He adds "I propose sending out a
short message to the participants later this month just to remind them about carrying
their National Trust cards and the like and to confirm we will greet them on 19th
September."

RV8 member, John Radgick, who runs a garage in Rothbury village in Northumberland
says "if any owners have a problem on the tour and need a garage they are
welcome to get in touch with us, we will do our best to help." The
