day at Brands Hatch in August - an opportunity not to be missed

member and track day enthusiast Doug Bond, part of the team running the successful
MGs on Track programme of track days, has been in touch to mention a track day
at Brands Hatch on Thursday 14th August 2014.

Smith "I recall enjoying a circuit of the Goodwood track as the passenger
in Doug's Damask coloured MGBGTV8 conversion (see above right) - his smooth and
relaxed style was deceptive as he lapped very rapidly indeed. Goodwood is an open
and free flowing circuit and running through Fordwater corner with the reverse
camber exit and then the twin apex Lavant corner was impressive".

has a track session at a track day at Brands Hatch on Thursday 14th August
2014 run by the Lotus on Track group. The track sessions will be on the Grand
Prix Circuit which V8 enthuiast Doug Bond (left above) says will "provide
an opportunity not not to be missed! We are hoping to make a strong showing at
the event and I would like to encourage fellow V8 members to support us. I expect
quite a few already have it in mind". Doug adds "that whilst not the
cheapest event on the calendar, the chance to drive the GP circuit with over two
hours on the track in a session format with other MGs seems a good deal".
