As the annual MG Show at Stoneleigh has been moved to Sunday 2nd March 2014 as a combined MG-Triumph Show for 2014, a V8 Curry the night before has been arranged at the Lloyds Indian Restauran in Knowle nearby. Nic Houslip knows this restaurant well and is arranging a supper there for V8 enthusiasts and fellow Club members and friends.

Meet at the restaurant at 6.30pm for sitting down to dinner at 6.45pm prompt. The early start is so fellow members travelling from some distance will be able to leave so they return home not too late but also a party like ours needs to order and dine before the flow of individual customers of the restaurant begin to arrive towards 8pm.

A set menu is available with a selection of items as a starter and then a selection of main courses with a side dish, rice and bread all for £17.95.

How to find Knowle and the Lloyds Indian Restaurant
Knowle
is at the middle of the top left quadrant of this map - just south east of the M42 and Solihull and north of the M40 and south of the M6. The Stoneleigh show ground is marked "A" and Knowle "B" on the map alongside.

Route to Knowle from the M42 junction near Solihull
Leave the M42 at an interchange signposted for Solihull and Knowle and travel 1.5 miles south east to the small village of Knowle on the A4141 marked "B" on the map alongside.

The Lloyds Indian Restaurant is at 7 Station Road which is on the south side of Knowle village and marked "B" in the map alongside.

Where to park
Nic Houslip says "there are car parks dotted around Knowle, a small village, and all are within easy walking distance of the restaurant. You may be lucky and find a space on the service road, but it is usually busy there.
Car parking in the car parks is free after 18:00 on Saturday and does not require you to take a ticket as it does in the week".
