| Glorious
weather made the visit to Hardwick Hall and the gardens in Derbyshire a most enjoyable
day. The early morning cool air and light traffic on the roads were ideal for
a relaxed drive. By mid morning a variety of MGV8s arrived including Hugh Boddington's
friend Charles Dyas with a fine example of the ZT-T 260 V8 estate and Trevor Savage
with a superb V8 Roadster. Mike Lane and Jackie Tasker and Brian and Christine
Conway talked enthusiastically of the V8 Two Day Highland Tour which follows the
European Event of the Year at Aviemore in August. See our illustrated report.
