RV8 upper front suspension bushes
In a V8BB posting John Yates asked "has anyone else come across wear in the aluminium casting that supports the upper front wishbone shaft? I've got two sets of relatively low mileage RV8 front suspension and all four have noticeable play between the shaft and the casting. I guess that there is no readily available fix so I shall be experimenting with inserting a bronze bush in the casting."

John Cumming responded that these bushes were fitted to some Jaguar cars. The centre sleeve is too long and has to be reduced to fit the RV8. They are expensive at about £90 a pair. However, Super Flex supply polyurethane replacement bushes, part number SF442-0834-42.5KSS at £52 + VAT. They also supply all the other bushes for the front and rear suspension. They are listed under Rover/MG Rover. John had fitted them to his car and have also fitted them to friends' cars too. David Sutcliffe agreed with John saying "the Jaguar CAC9295 is I believe the same but the distance tube has to be machined shorter."
