MG V8 book presentation & book launch What was behind his new book and the additional material he has packed into his new book? This was covered by the author, David Knowles, in his talk to fellow V8 members at the V8 Anniversary Day on Saturday 18th May 2013. Then the commissioning editor with the publisher Crowood Press, Hannah Shakespeare, launched the book jointly with the V8 Register. David had signed 90 copies of his book for the V8 Register and they proved very popular with fellow V8 enthusiasts keen to have a personalised copy of the book. At the book launch he was awarded a bottle of champagne which might well have proved useful as he had stopped off to give his talk on his way to a significant wedding anniversary celebration further west in Oxfordshire!
