A 24 page guidebookhas been prepared with route maps to Chiselhampton from the A34 and M40 (and back again from Ewelme at the end of the day), route maps and detailed route notes to guide you from church to church, descriptions of each church and of many features seen on the tour like Watlington Hill on the Chiltern's ridge near the lofty village of Christmas Common and the ancient Ridgeway path. The guidebook is a convenient size - slightly larger than A5 size (6.7" by 8.4" or 17cm by 24cm) - and is printed in colour with a wire comb binding so the book can layflat on the navigator's knees. The guidebook is available at £14.95 including UK postage and packing. Any copies purchased by overseas members intending to join the tour will be available for collection from the event organiser at Chiselhampton where the tour will begin.

Please do not drive in convoys as this can lead to difficulties in passing oncoming vehicles in narrow lanes and it will cause frustration and annoyance for local people. The routes chosen are inevitably on narrow country lanes. An alternative route from Shirburn via Watlington to Fingest is suggested to avoid particularly narrow sunken lanes with high banks alongside and few passing places.
