In
1967 the band Genesis was formed at Charterhouse school in Surrey.
A friend was persuaded to give, school old boy, Jonathan King,
a demo tape of the band. King had achieved fame through his
hit single "Everyone's Gone to the Moon". It
is said that King didn't play the tape until he was on his way
home in his white MGB GT. He immediately latched onto
Peter Gabriel's voice and wanted to hear more. The rest is history.
