In 2013 the MGB was one of 10 classic cars featured on a stamp in a Royal Mail stamp collection. The 1964 MGB Roadster in Iris Blue was bought by John Watson in 1989 who then had it restored by Abingdon Car Restorations in Steventon.

Although John Watson’s MGB is a 1964 version, the stamp carried the year 1962 because that was when the MGB model was first produced.
