The delicious Joanna Lumley was "Purdy" and used an MGB Roadster regstered MOC 232P in the New Avengers TV series. It is reputed that when the car was delivered, they couldn't get it into reverse gear. They discovered it had an Austin gearknob fitted which had a different shift pattern to the B. Doh! The car is still listed with the DVLA. But what happened to it?
