Peter Beadle has found alink to this video with an interesting
series of charts showing the levels of car production in the
top ten countries from 1950 to 2019. It's a fascinating clip
showing how Japan rose as a producer (by volume of cars produced)
to pass the USA, the UK gradually sank down the chart and in
the recent decades China has stormed into the lead. See
