"Well, I never knew that!"
The Brothers, the 1970's BBC TV series about the Hammond Brothers transport company, was very popular.
The character Clair Miller (Carole Mowlam), played the secretary and sophisticated, well dressed personal assistant to Chairman Paul Merroney (Colin Baker). She drove an MGBGTV8 in Harvest Gold. It appeared many times in the series.

I believe the registration was WMM 761M, which is date correct for a London car new in early 1974. It is likely that the registration was correct as it was filmed on motorways and main roads. As far as I am aware it is the only MGBGTV8 to ever take a leading automotive roll in a TV series. Sadly the Register has no record of he car and it is no longer included in the DVLA records. Does anyone know anything about this car?
