Taverne - longstanding Costello V8 enthusiast and
V8 Register member Meeting Lothar Taverne in Vienna Walter Kallenberg, a founding member of the V8 Register, recently travelled to Vienna in his MGBGTV8 and was able to meet Lothar Taverne a longstanding member of the V8 Register. Lothar has had his Costello BGTV8 since the 1970s and Walter reports "he still enjoys owning the Costello V8". Walter adds "meeting someone after 35 years is sometimes a risk, but meeting Lothar was splendid. I last saw him in 1983 at Silverstone!" For touring Walter says "the V8 is still the best MG of our cars to travel in, we did 4.000 km on this trip through the Austrian Alps!"
