Peter
Beadle has provided a photo of the former University Motors site in Church
Street, Epsom from 1936 when the Woodcote Motor Co was trading there. Below is
the same building in 1980 when University Motors was there and Peter was Parts
Manager. You can still see the characteristic 1930s design but by 1980 a new roof
had been added.
Above is a photo of Church Street in 2008 showing the redevelopment
on the former University Motors site. The cinema next to Woodcote Motor Co has
also gone. |
